School LIfe

I studied at Department of Applied Foreign Languages in National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School (NTCVS).  I am glad to have so many lovely classmates to learn and experience a lot of activities together.  They are so humorous and kind to me.  Because of them I feel it is interesting to go to school.  Although my academic performance was not very top, I still study hard with all my heart.  I always believe in the saying,"As you sow, so you reap";hence, I do my utmost in every aspect of my school life.  Take it for example that when I was just an 11^th grader, I passed the preliminary test of the intermediate level of General English Proficiency Test (GEPT), including listening and reading.  And I promise myself that I will get the certificate of intermediate level.  Except that, I have passed the level 3 of the Test of English Ability Association.  In addition, I also passed the required qualification examination of class C skill category of Computer Software Application and Techficiency Quotient Certification of Word 2007 Professional by Computer Skills Foundation.

Here in NTCVS, not only have I enhanced my English ability, but I have also broadened my horizons.  By reading various English articles, I am able to explore everything about the world and learn all kinds of knowledge.  For instance, now I have better understanding of cultures and histories of individual countries.Apart from reinforcing my English ability, I also learned a lot from serving as a class cadre member.  I have ever served as vice discipline section chief , vice sanitarian in my class.  By being in charge of these positions, I got lots of precious experiences that leading a class was not easy, but I was happy I could learn so much from serving for my class.  After taking this job, I found that I became more and more responsible.  I was very delight that I could help my classmates.

Family Background

  My name is Ciou Chun-Jhu.  There are four members in my family, including my parents, my young brother, and me.  My father, one worker in a manufactory, is a responsible man. He always has reminded me that "Honesty is the best policy" since I was a little girl. Once, I did wrong thing, and I was fear that if my father knew the thing, I would have be punished,and I lied to him.  However, my father knew the thing later, and he made me copy the words that I can't lie forever in order to prevent me from lying once and for all.  As far as he is concerned,"One lie makes many."  Hence, he made that decision.  My mother, an employee at a company, often tells me "just try your best to do everything" . Therefore, I always think about that if I have done my best or not regardless of what grade I get.  Finally, my young brother, a innocent and clever child, is a 8th grader in a junior high school. Whenever he encounteres difficulties at his studies, he always asks me and I am pleasant to teaches him.  Being not rich at all, every member in my family is satisfied with the life we live.
