  You can do a simple experiment to prove that black is a better collector of solar energy than white.  All you should prepare is two tin cans, a black and a white paint and a room thermometer. At the beginning, paint the cans-one black, one white. Next, fill the cans with water. Furthermore, put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours.  In the last place, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare.  As a result, you can arrive at a conclusion─the temperature of the water in the black can is higher.
