  In current a democratic society, many orders are tend to democracy, and dress code in the school is no exception. Although many people think that the dress code in the school is reasonable, I strongly deem that the regulation should be abolished because it is inconvenient for us. Some people think that uniform is easy to recognize. However, the counterargument is that it regulates our behaviors. In addition, no one can argue against the fact that the material of uniform is discomfort. Due to all of these reasons, one must conclude that the dress code should be abolished.

  In the high crime rate society, the punishments become crucial, and the issue that if the death penalty should be abolished is necessary to be discussed.  Although many people insist that death penalty is should be abolished, I strongly believe that the punishment should be reserved because the penalty would deter people from committing crimes.  Some people think that it is harsher to serve a life in prison.  However, the counterargument is that it makes criminals pay the ultimate price and sufferers could be appeased.  In addition, no one can argue against the fact that the penalty was reserved, and the order in the society would be more peaceful because it rids society of menaces.  It is for all the above-mentioned reasons and more that I believe the death penalty should be reserved.

  Both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson are very important for Americans because they play significant roles in the American Revolution.  Also, John Adams was the signer of Declaration of Independence, and so was Thomas Jefferson . More than this, Thomas Jefferson studied and practiced law. Similarly, John Adams studied and practiced law. Last but not the least, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were the second U.S. president and the third U.S. president respectively.  According to above information, we can know how important they would be.

 Recently, many stores have held anniversary sales;therefore, I want to go shopping.  Exactly, I find two clothing stores selling ladies hoodies and there are some resemblance between the two ladise hoodies. First, the price of LOURIE'S is $34.99. Lidewise, the price of GREEN'S is $34.99. Also, both them are machine washable. In addition, the meterial of LOURIE'S is similar to the that of GREEN'S. What's more, the lades hoodies in LOURIE'S is the same color as that in GREEN'S.  It is because of above factors, I have a problem deciding which one I can buy in.

  According to the two resumes from people applying for being an English instructor, I have to choose the best one for our school.  After pondering a long time, I select Debra Fines, who comes form Philadelphia.  There are some comparisons between two people.  First of all, in educational status, Debra Fines is a BA English, MA English, and PhD Linguistics; however, Lynn Whitnall is a  BA Spanish. Next, in employment experience aspect, Debra Fines is more veteran than Lynn Whitnall.  In the last place, though Lynn Whitnall is fluent in Spanish, French, Japanese, but I just would like to hire a person, who is expert in English.  Above the mention, which is why I employ Debra Fines instead of Lynn Whitnall.

  I am looking for an apartment to share near campus, together with my friend. I saw two descriptions of apartments on the Internet. There are two large bedrooms in Fairfax Apartments whereas there is only a bedroom in CAMPUS APTS. There are air conditioned, furnished in Fairfax Apartments. Other than that, there is unfurnished, but that is available immediately in large modern building. In Fairfax Apartments, there is no pet allowed. To the contrary, in CAMPUS APTS, pets allowed. Last but no the least, the rent in Fairfax Apartments is $1250 a month and all utilities included, however, that in CAMPUS APTS is only $900 a month and plus utilities.

After comparing with two apartments, I think I will know which one I would like to live.

  When it comes to popular entertainer on the music scene in Taiwan,  Jay Chou is the best one, and Lee Hom Wang is too.  Lee Home Wang and Jay Chou is alike in many ways.  For example, Lee Hom Wang is a singer, so is Jay Chou.  Also, both Lee Hom Wang and Jay Chou play the piano.  In addition, not only is Lee Hom Wang a director, but Jay Chou is.  Last but not the least, both of them are good actors.  I think they are so gifted and versatile.

●Giving reason - My Favorite Holiday - revise

Among all the holiday in a year, Lantern Festival is my favorite one, which is a meaningful, best-known, stands for Chinese culture. On the day, each of our family would make rice glue balls including various colors such as red and white. Then we have a wonderful meal filled with rice glue balls. Further, we go out to appreciate festival lanterns.  In addition, there is an amusing activity- riddle game, which is the most interesting for me.   Last but not least, family reunion is the most important part for me on this special day, which let me feel at home.  These are why I like the Lantern Festival.
